No! Slate-ish is actually split, like natural stone. We start with a layered paper-resin composite, then cut and manually split the material. Each piece is unique, just like natural stone.
Any dry, interior location can be a good fit for Slate-ish. A few of our favorite uses can be found on our Application Page
