Improve your space one tile at a time
Simple to cut with woodworking tools
Immediate, dramatic results
Split like stone, from recycled materials
Easier than you think!
Slate-ish can be installed by even a beginner - and only simple tools are required. Though it looks like real stone, it can be cut with woodworking tools (we like a miter saw), or even installed by overlapping!
It can also be installed directly over painted sheetrock, so you can easily transform a room by just adding Slate-ish tiles.

My order was received earlier than expected. The product was much easier to cut than I anticipated. The installation was a no brainer and the end result exceeded my expectations. The cost was nice too.

Dramatic Wall Tile for nearly any room
Project Highlight
“Best and easiest home improvement project I ever did ! Great product and great customer service.
It was so easy. And I did the no cut method so the only tool I used to put this up was a caulk gun (which I had never used before) lol. It was actually FUN figuring out how to arrange the pieces. By the second row I felt like I knew exactly what I was doing. And def follow the instructions and work bottom to top. I would do it in more areas if I could find other places to use it! “

Yes! Limited (or no) cutting, with woodworking tools, and can be installed directly on to painted sheetrock.
Slate-ish installs piece by piece, which goes quicker than you think! It also makes it easy for you to stop and start, so you can fit it in to even the busiest schedule. Individual pieces also eliminate visible seams from panels.

No! Slate-ish is actually split, like natural stone. We start with a layered paper-resin composite, then cut and manually split the material. Each piece is unique, just like natural stone.

Any dry, interior location can be a good fit for Slate-ish. A few of our favorite uses can be found on our Application Page
Almost too Easy
Beginner skills yield pro results.
You need a painted wall and a few tools. Seriously you’d have to try to mess up.
