Soot is the Original Slate-ish material - and slightly different than all of our other colors, so it’s got it’s own category.
It’s one of our prettiest colors (and textures!), but it’s also delicate. It will show oil from fingerprints, for example. Though acetone will remove most oily residue, scratches cannot be removed.
Soot is a solid color all the way through. There is no surface coating.
Soot is a Fire Rated material, with a Class A Fire Rating and a temperature limit of 350 degrees.
