Grey Mastic Tint
One packet is enought to tint 1 gallon of Titebond Fast Grab FRP Adhesive. If you have a larger project and are purchasing the 3.5 gallon container, use 4 packets.
This is a packet of additive is for adhesive that you can purchase locally.
This is the same type of black colorant used for paint tinting. Handle the packet carefully. Use gloves if possible, and add the tint packet in an area that won’t be damaged if a few drops escape!
One packet for a 1 gallon container. Each gallon covers approximately 50sf.
We recommend an 1/8” V notched trowel - not the larger size trowel that the adhesive directions recommend. You do not need a deep bed of adhesive for our tile.
NOTE: Use caution when opening and dispensing this packet! It is a VERY deep black colorant, and can stain fabric, flooring, and just about anything else that you splatter it on.
If you get it on your hands - don’t worry - it will wash off with soapy water, but don’t wait for it to dry!
This tinted adhesive means that you don’t have to have a dark substrate.
